CHSI hosts ‘Innovation Weekend’ to bring multiple fields together for the benefit of rural healthcare in Oklahoma.

Oklahoma State University Center for Health Systems Innovation is transforming healthcare through creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship. We focus specifically on rural health innovation, patient care innovation, and data analytics. We operate at the crossroads of the OSU Spears School of Business and the OSU Center for Health Sciences, positioning us to innovate both clinical models and business models.

OSU logo OSU Health Access Network (OSU HAN) is a service organization providing case management/care coordination, improved access to specialty care, expanded quality improvement, and data analysis to enhance the medical capabilities of OSU SoonerCare Choice providers.
ROKNET The Rural Oklahoma Network (ROK-Net) is a developing network focused on creating an alliance among OSU researchers, OSU innovators, and practicing rural primary care providers to identify and implement meaningful solutions to improve and transform daily rural primary care practice.  Rural primary care providers interested in ROK-Net can learn more and register their interest here.

CHSI Summer Interns CHSI Summer Interns
CHSI employs summer interns to work on projects that are defined on a year-to-year basis. Summer interns are expected to work during the summer term from mid-May until the end of July. They usually work in teams on targeted projects designed to quickly advance CHSI projects through concentrated effort. Internships are available in data analytics and in care delivery. Data analytic competitors from OSU will arm themselves with their analytics arsenal to identify innovative, data-driven healthcare business and patient-care solutions from a data module provided by CHSI.

Student Club

Club Description
HITEC logo Health Innovation, Technology, and Entrepreneurship Club (HITEC) is a student club at the Center for Health Sciences. This interdisciplinary club promotes a health innovation culture at CHS through HITEC programs, community presentations, innovation challenges, and academic/educational functions and forums.
